In 2012, shortly after moving to the city I was checking out one the city's many summer festivals and I came across a Chirp volunteer table promoting the station. Local, volunteer run, independent radio sounded pretty neat to a lifelong music nerd like me so I started volunteering. A year later, I began DJing for Chirp and before I knew it, I had been on air for more than 10 years. Being a DJ at Chirp has truly become one of my great joys in life. I love my listeners along with getting the opportunity to bring my eclectic music tastes to the Chicago airwaves and beyond on our stream. When I'm not on the air at Chirp I enjoy playing darts, watching bad movies with my partner, watching the Cubs win, and lots of other nerdy activities.
