Craig previously worked in radio at KVOE AM and Fox 105 in Emporia, Kansas, and served as a DJ, music director and general manager for WVKC at Knox College. A former Senior Staff Writer for Pop'stache, he writes freelance for Newcity, and contributes to CHIRP's blog. Craig worked in the hotel and meetings industry for twenty-five years and currently works in artifical intelligence. He is a member of The Blue Ribbon Glee Club, Chicago's longest-running a capella group that performs punk, indie and alternative rock favorites. He comes by his DJ handle honestly, having kept various reptile and amphibian species through the years, and has earned a Master Herpetologist Certification from the Amphibian Foundation. He is also a long-time member of the Chicago Herpetological Society and serves on the board of directors. Craig was a member of the Chicago Indie Rock Fans Meetup Group and currently runs the Facebook groups "Purple Promotional Prose" and "Towards A More Twee Chicago."
