I was a college dj briefly at Michigan State- one summer in 1992. Before that, high school in East Lansing MI. I heard about CHIRP a couple years ago and couldn't believe that I may be able to get on the radio in my own neighborhood! The people here at CHIRP are so welcoming and willing to share their knowledge and experience, it really makes it easy to volunteer for them. If you're looking for a place to spend some time, doing something you love related to music, become a CHIRP volunteer today. I've lived in Chicago since 1994, married and rasied a family here. I feel like that means that I'm now "from Chicago". It's an amazing city with so much great music, art, food and community. I will always share my finds with you.
